Alyssa Nightingale is President of Nightingale & Nightingale, Inc., a leading public relations/communications firm located in Cold Spring Harbor, NY.  Ms. Nightingale is considered one of the leading experts in the area of marketing and public relations. She has extensive experience having worked with some of the top public relations companies in the industry – companies like Cohn & Wolfe, one of the hottest creative shops in Manhattan and Wunderman Worldwide, the direct marketing arm of Young & Rubicam. She has managed and executed public relations and marketing programs for an abundance of major corporations including Hasbro Toys, Coca-Cola Foods (Minute Maid Orange Juice) and the CBS Compact Disc and Columbia House Record & Tape Clubs. She has been responsible nationwide for some of the hottest public relations programs including the “GI Joe Search For Real American Heroes.” This program was honored in the public relations industry and won runner-up status in the Relate Creativity Awards.       Ms. Nightingale has served as Honorary Vice Chairman/PR for the US Marine Corps Toys For Tots program. She was awarded a Community Service Award from the LI Board of Realtors and has been recognized by the Chamber of Commerce Regional Business Partnership as one of the “101 Volunteers of the Year.” Alyssa is a Board Member of the National Organization for Women’s Safety Awareness, Inc. (NOWSA) and also serves on the Board for the Cold Spring Harbor Business Improvement District and has served on the Advisory Council for Adults and Children with Learning Disabilities (ACLD). Ms. Nightingale holds a Masters Degree with Distinction in Communications Arts and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Music from Wheaton College.
